nnNational Debt Relief is seeking a Senior Director of Brand & Earned Media to oversee the design and execution of best-in-class customer facing brand initiatives, earned media efforts, and external communication strategies.

This role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with key senior leaders throughout the Company.This person will work to shape the Company’s current and future brand strategies, helping the company to evolve and further stake out our place in the market.

Strategies and initiatives will span across integrated paid media campaigns, content marketing, SEO and organic social, and earned and industry media. We are looking for a brilliant storyteller, brand positioner and earned media specialist with a unique knack for helping to build white space and unique selling propositions that resonate with consumers in need of our services.This person will drive a corporate agenda that raises aided and unaided awareness of the National Debt Relief brand, while promoting our agenda of supporting those in need and alleviating the growing debt crises in the United States.nn nnPrinciple Duties and Responsibilitiesnn nnLead “upper funnel” branding efforts that support awareness and consideration and drive “down funnel” lead generation and acquisition efforts.Develop uniquely differentiated, galvanizing brand campaigns and themes.Spearhead proactive and reactive earned media efforts, including agency and press / editor relationships.Proactively build leading narrative, creating trends in the marketplace.Transform press, influencers and institutions into advocates.Develop content that drives SEO efforts.Manage social media presence by generating engagement, sharing and advocacy of the NDR brand message.Manage and build on the company’s strong reputation; lead solicitation of reviews as well as ongoing dialogue with consumers.Work with other marketing managers to continue to improve and evolve the Company’s design persona across all channels and materials.Develop and optimize both new and existing client communications across all channels and for all departments where client communication exists.Work closely with members of the marketing team and employees across the company to ensure consistency in terms of tone and positioning across all consumer-facing communications.Effectively use research and brand tracking studies to analyze and report on the performance of the organization’s branding and earned media efforts.nn nnRequired Skills and Experiencenn nnBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.An elite brand builder with outstanding “upper funnel” brand building and earned media skills.7-10+ years of experience in managing brand development and marketing communications efforts, preferably in a consumer services / consumer finance oriented organization.Firsthand experience selecting, managing, and growing appropriate social media channels.Creative storyteller, with excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical skills with a passion for testing and measurement.Excellent project management skills.Experience using SalesForce is preferred.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results driven, and dynamic environment.Extremely detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skillsHighly proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.nn
