Summary
Mechanical Contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation and maintenance for the NY area is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of a Project Manager on a full time basis.

Mechanical subcontractor based out of Queens, NY.
Description
- Oversee and ensure project(s) meet budget and schedule timeline in accordance to the scope of work.
- Coordinate, schedule and manage subcontractor(s), MEP, architects and trades personnel.
- Oversee day to day purchasing of all supplies, equipment and material for the project.
- Perform daily job visits, inspections and work alongside the Safety Director and Quality Control to ensure company standards are met.
- Oversee all sequencing of installations for individual mechanical trades, evaluate sub-contractor change orders, create RFI’s, project schedule of tasks, write proposals, and general correspondence.
- Analyzing cost and price data, review proposals and perform bid analysis.
- Negotiate with approved vendors, review and approve all invoices.
Profile
- Four-year degree in Engineering (Electrical, Architectural, Civil or Mechanical), Construction Management, and/or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HVAC/Mechanical company in regards to high-rise construction.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast pace environment.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be well versed in computer usage and software such as Microsoft Office and Sage.
