We are currently seeking consultants with a focus in antitrust and competition work.Responsibilities* Successfully structure effective teams and lead client engagements focused on antitrust litigation and competition merger review* Oversee preparation of expert reports and other highly specialized client deliverables* Identify and develop data-driven, cutting-edge, and litigation-proof analytical projects that evaluate boundaries of relevant antitrust markets, issues of market power, and competitive effects, which may require: (a) systematic document review; (b) regression analysis; and (c) simulation modeling* Lead technical discussions with and present research and findings to testifying expert, clients, and regulatory agencies* Supervise research into firm, industry, and marketplace behaviors* Train, develop and mentor junior team membersMinimum Qualifications* Doctorate degree (or the equivalent) in economics, statistics, finance, mathematics, or a related subject preferred* Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience* Exceptional project management skills, including ability to: (a) oversee and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines; (b) coordinate complex team interactions; and (c) manage client budgets* Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively to solve real-world problems in time-sensitive, dynamic situations* Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues through analytical techniques; structure potential solutions; drive to resolution with senior stakeholders* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Self-directed preparation of client-ready deliverables* Highly motivated and thorough with acute attention to detail* Ability to promote a successful team environment, as well as work independently, with an entrepreneurial attitude* A positive and energetic attitudeAlixPartners is a global consulting firm that specializes in helping businesses successfully address their most complex and critical challenges. addition to a positive workplace, the firm offers a competitive compensation package including an excellent benefit program (health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement).All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to among other things, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, (age), status as a protected veteran, or disability.
