Ad Operations Manager

Publishers use Unruly’s self-service tools, global relationships with premium demand partners, user-friendly ad formats and dedicated support team to maximise their revenue across a range of different screens, including CTV, mobile and desktop.A pioneer in bringing emotional intelligence to the ad ecosystem, Unruly’s innovative, multi-format tech, unique audience insights and creative solutions also enable brands and agencies to seamlessly engage global consumers in premium, brand-safe environments.Where in the Unrulyverse will I be working?Reporting to the Operations Director EMEA, you will be responsible for using the full scope of the Unruly programmatic stack to design and deliver custom proposals, showcasing the power of our audience segmentation and contextual targeting capabilities. Collaborating with Business Development, Sales Ops and the Commercial teams, you will be the key, day-to-day point of contact for clients and will maintain a highly responsive service orientation across all campaigns.You also will lead on converting closed deals into fully realised projects across the DACH region, working with the Programmatic OPS team to use multiple technology layers to achieve our client’s goals.Currently our teams are working remotely, however once it is safe to do so this role will be based in the Hamburg office for some of the week.What will I be doing?You will take the reins on some of our most important and highest revenue driving agency clients and support us in delivering the most advanced video campaigns on the planet. Some of your mission would involve;* Build and maintain relationships with key clients and agencies (mostly media agencies or direct advertisers) throughout campaign lifecycle* Coordinate client services efforts for inbound commercial leads, from presale recommendations, product selection and pricing to project managing each campaign through to success* Work with the German Operations team to run advanced video campaigns via multiple demand-based technology platforms, developing a strong understanding of auction-based media and complex targeting to assist with building out and delivering best in class campaigns.* Ensuring our internal and external clients are delighted time and time again through outstanding client servicing, expert delivery and compelling campaign insights* Taking full responsibility for the project management of all campaigns* Coordination of live operational matters and collaborating with internal teams to provide support for feature requests and new inventory resources* Service as a daily point of contact for clients’ campaigns – including asset collection, internal coordination, daily reporting/updates, post campaign analysis & recommendations* Manage all aspects of post-sales support driving for campaign upweights and repeat businessWhat will I bring?* Proven digital media experience across agency, publisher, network or technology vendor environments (ideally related to client servicing)* Fluency in German (min. C2) and English* Fully conversant in programmatic media buying and data opportunities and ability to create and deliver against custom targeting profiles to hit client requirements* Understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including the roles of DSPs, SSPs, Exchanges, RTB and Audience Targeting* Confident in project managing large scale campaigns across different teams* Have managed campaigns either bought/sold programmatically via advertising exchanges, DSPs or SSPs* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced changing environment* At least a basic understanding of data management platforms, such as Tableau* Have direct client experience through pitch involvement and building out proposals to secure digital ad revenueHere at Unruly, we like to think outside the box, so if you don’t tick every one of these- don’t worry!
