Senior Talent Development Trainer

Job Description Westmed is seeking a Senior Talent Development Trainer to develop and execute training programs. The candidate will be working with executives, developers, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other trainers throughout the different stages of developing and executing training programs. The senior candidate will have a strong background in Instructional Design; developing digital and in person programs for system and business skills.Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:Develop Deliver group, individual and virtual training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas in a specified field.Develops training curricula and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives.Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.Assists in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals, communities, and/or university departments.May review instructor performance and recommend improvements to program content and/or instructor presentation methods; may recruit, select, and train instructors.Search for gaps in training material or content that should be filled to ensure safety and productivity among staff members.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Minimum Required Qualifications:Ability to successfully work within a team environment and by themselvesExperience training Electronic Medical Record is a must.5-7 years of experience developing curriculum.3-5 years of developing eLearning trainings using eLearning software (Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline, Camtasia Studio or Elucidate).7 years of standup training experience.5 years of technical training experience.5 years business skills training experience.Ability to travel within Westchester county, NY and Fairfield county, CT.Master’s degree preferred.Company DescriptionWestmed Medical Group is a large, award-winning multi-specialty medical practice, with headquarters in Rye Brook, NY.
