nn Duties and Responsibilities nn Responsible for continuously optimizing direct and indirect manufacturing labor and in-plant material flow through the use of industrial engineering methods: Line balancing Owns time studies Owns in-plant and external material flow Designs and implements optimal station layouts that support the operator Drives towards sustainable solutions Leads Kaizen events Completes root cause analysis and implements corrective actions Supports safety performance of the manufacturing area through the design of ergonomic solutions for the different operations as well as for material handling Understands NIOSH guidelines Drives plan for every part approach to new product launches Understands strategy deployment nn nn nn Candidate Qualifications nn nn
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (engineering) nn nn
• Minimum 3-7 years of engineering experience, Preferably in industrial, manufacturing or process engineering nn nn
• Experience with time studies, flow mapping and other process improvement practices nn nn
• Sense of urgency nn nn
• Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomouslynn nn
• Excellent communications skills and ability to communicate across departments nn nn
• Must possess strong team, leadership, and interpersonal skills and be able to work with senior executives as well as hourly employeesnn nn nn nn Preferred Qualifications nn nn
