LPN’s may supervise C.N.A’s.Key Tasks Include:Collects patient/resident data to facilitate completion of clinical assessmentsCollaborate with other health professionals in the Plan of CareMonitors patient progress and condition and trends requiring interventionAdds pertinent information to the plan of care as neededObserve patient/resident response to therapeutic regimen and report to RN.Administer medications and treatments and assist with diagnostic tests and proceduresParticipate in resident/family education and discharge planningWhen in charge, manage work assignments to meet patient and unit needsSupervise and monitor delivery of care by Nursing AssistantsParticipate in orientation of new staff or students on unitMaintain notes and records of patient status, and transcribe physician ordersQualifications:Current and valid NYS License of Practical Nursing (LPN)Graduate of an accredited Nursing schoolRecent, relevant experience working with the geriatric populationJob Posted by ApplicantPro
