Administrative Assistant

CFCU Community Credit Union

This is a Full-time position in Ithaca, NY posted December 1, 2020.

nnCFCU Community Credit Union (CFCU) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant who will provide administrative support for the VP of Member Experience through administrative tasks, monthly reporting and special projects.

The successful candidate will be proactive, highly self-motivated, well-organized, and will have strong willingness to learn and problem solve.

This individual must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and focus upon completing diverse set of tasks independently.

nn nn Responsibilities: nn Prepares month end reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards for management, arranges various meetings at the request of the VP of Member Experience.

Works with VP of Member Experience to develop, document, and update procedures and policies, researching regulations and best practices, as necessary.

Provides various month end sales reports to the branch managers and maintains the master branch production report for branches.

Assists branch managers with monthly incentive reporting and sends file to HR for payroll processing.

Assists with the coordination, retrieval and distribution of various reports from the core system and any ancillary systems.

Completes monthly teller transaction reporting.

Collects coin counter information/invoices to update reporting as needed.

Maintains pages on the CFCUniverse for branch operations and individual branches.

Updates CFCU Website as needed with branch hours and services.

Provides branch signage including but not limited to branch Holiday closing packet, teller coin jar signage, and any additional signage as needed.

Compiles documents and files requested for audits and regulatory examinations and drafts responses to any related findings.

Drafts and designs general correspondences and memos.

Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.

Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.

Assists with working with 3rd party vendors to ensure contractual commitments are met and assist with RFP processes including new contracts and/or contract renewals.

Coordinates special projects on behalf of the VP of Member Experience and other departments.

Manages project status reports, action items, and deadline targets.

Performs other miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned.

nn n nn nn Desired Skills: nn 1-3 years administrative or related experience.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

The ability to provide clear and professional communication to credit union members, other departments”, staff, and vendors.

Understands all software programs applicable to retail financial services and can use them proficiently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to work well in both independent and highly collaborative settings.

Ability to deal with ambiguity.

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.

The ability to think strategically.
